How to block a particular user from accessing Removable storage


Here I am explaining about how to block a particular user from accessing Removable storage. if you're a system administrator you want to use pendrive in client machine in admin account. A client can't use pendrive in their user account.

Here I am using ms (Microsoft management console) with the group policy object

1. Go to Run--->> press on windows key + R

2. Type mmc

3. Go to file-->> Add/Remove Snapin

4. Add Group policy object (group policy object means it is a policy we can apply for a group or multiple group or users easily. in the case of servers all restrictions are doing from group policy.)

5. Before click on the finish you can see browse, click on browse

6. Now it asks you about which user/computer you want to block select that particular user/computer

7. Click on finish and ok

8. Now you can see Local computer\"user" policy--->>open that one (user means which user you want to block)

9.open user configuration and open Administrative Templete--->>Open All setting

10.Here you can see all of our administrative tools you can block anything with this step

11.Search for Removable Storage and Disble that one

12.save the particular console

13.Goto Run and type gpupdate(group policy update)

14.Check now .............>!!!

Note: dont delete that console file....!
