How to Install ADDS(Active directory domain service) on windows server-2008 R2

Hi,here i am explain about ADDS and how we can Install ADDS.

Features of ADDS
1. Centralized management of data base.
2. Administrative task will be reduced.
3. User management will be very easy.
4. Group management.
5. Policy management.
6. Resource management. (Printer data and computer etc)
7. Hierarchal data base. (multiple domain with subsequent name space)
8. Easy to locate the services and object.
9. Scalability (Extend the hierarchy

COMPONENTS OF ADDS-(LOGICAL COMPONENT)
1 DOMAIN CONTROLLER
2 MEMBER OF DOMAIN
3 CHILD DOMAIN
4 ADDITIONAL DOMAIN CONTROLLER
5 DOMAIN TREE
6 FOREST
7 MEMBER OF DOMAIN TREE

COMPONENTS OF ADDS(PHYSICAL COMPONENT)

1.SITES: It defines the physical structure of the network with well defined I.P Subnets.

2.DOMAIN CONTROLLER:It maintains the centralized data base for domain.

3.DOMAIN:Logical grouping of computer, users and groups, OU’s, policies, resources etc. are called as domain

4.TREE:COMBINATION OF MULTIPLE DOMAINS WITH CONTEGIOUS name space is called as tree.

5.FOREST:It is the combination of multiple trees or domain with different name space is called as forest.

6.O.U (Organizational Unit):Smaller administrative boundary under the admin.


1.Logon to the Administrator with the password(pass@123)

2.Wait for few seconds then the ICT tab will come just close that one now you can see sever manager tab(check the taskbar you can see server manager

 here you can see the following:

 a).Roles:-roles means services what are the services you want that are arranged under roles.eg:DNS,DHCP,ADDS.like that

 b).features:-it is a collection of micosoft features.if you install a role that particular role want some depondancies that are collected under features
   
    eg:bitlocker,.dotnet frame..etc

 c).Diagonostics:-it is a diaganostic tool.It contain Event viewer,Device manager,performance moitor

 D).Configuration:-it contains our local user and groups,services,firewall,task schedule.etc.

 E):-Sorage:- it is like Diskmanagement tool


3.you can open server manager from task bar/Goto All programs-->>Administative tools-->>Server manager

4.Open the Roles-->>Now you can see Add role option-->>it is used to Add roles in to your server

5.Click on add roles -->>now it show a welcome window -->>Click on Next

6.Now you can see the 17 roles.Now we want ADDS--->>you can see Active Directory Domain Service (in second postion)

7.Tick on that one Next

8.Now it show dependencies-->>just click on  Add required feature

9.Click on next and install
