Remote management in windows


Hi friends,here i am explaining about remote management.what is remote management ? Advantages of remote management ?Remote management means we can manage our PC or server remotely through internet or LAN.
What are the remote management tools used in windows:
1. Microsoft Remote Desktop
2. Microsoft Remote Assistance
3. Microsoft Terminal service
4. Teamviewer
5. VNC viewer.. etc.

Remote Desktop service
-----------------------
Remote Desktop service is an inbuilt service in windows. we can access any windows version PC through remote desktop. Disadvantages of remote desktop means if am a server admin, you're a client you can't see what I am doing on your machine. when I am logging into your PC remotely your PC will be logged off.
How to work with Remote Desktop services
1. You can directly search and find remote desktop from start menu other wise Goto RUN type "musts"
2. Now you can see it ask a computer name/IP address type IP address of particular clients and connect.
3. Now it is asking username and password type particular username and password-->>click on Next and -->> YES

Note: * If it is not working you need to ask to check firewall is off or allow the remote desktop through firewall
*then also it is not working R-click on my computer-->>properties-->>remote setting-->>Allow remote connection from any version of windows. and click on select user and add your particular user in to remote group

important:RDP protocol is used in remote desktop connections.Port number of RDP is 3389

Remote Assistance
-----------------
Microsoft remote assistance also a remote management inbuilt tool of Microsoft, difference between the remote desktop and remote assistance, If you're connecting your client through a remote assistance client also can view the screen.
How to work with Remote assistance
-------------------------------------------
1. GOTO Run type "msra" or you can search for remote assistance in start menu.
2. if your a client you need to select invite someone to help you and send the activation key to your server admin.
3. if you a server admin You need to select help someone who has invited you and select the downloaded key.

Note:* Here also check firewall and remote assistance enabled or not.

Microsoft Terminal service
--------------------------
Microsoft terminal service means it is used only on Microsoft servers we can connect and check multiple pc at a time like team viewer.

Teamviewer
----------

Team viewer is a external software,we can connect and fix issues through internet or LAN(you can check in my blog how to access team viewer in LAN)


VNC viewer
----------

VNC also a third party software it supports any version/any platforms like windows/Linux/Mac
