The term form factor refers to the structural dimensions and th standards utilized by thee various components of the server.When compared with pcs some servers adapt to all kinds of form factors.

Types are:

1.Tower server

2.Rack server

3.Blade server

Server	Advantages	Disadvantages
Tower Server	Similar to a personal computer system with respect to the cost factor.            Consider as a powerful servers as they can include more number of hard drive when compared to other servers.            Maintained with minimal effort with respect to the cooling factor.	Consume larger physical space.hence bussiness units which have space constraints do not prefer deploying a tower server.            Create a lot of noise and hence is not prefereed by most bussiness units.            Do not have special features  designed to manage the cable wires            Required higher operating coast.
RackServer	Require less Space when compared to tower server.          Provide horizontal and vertical scalability.            Support more storage capacity.	Difficult to cool down the components.            Less power full  compared to tower server.
